Dear Assembly Member Mike Eng

I am contacting you with my support for Assembly Concurrent Resolution (ACR) 76 designating December 17th as a "Day of Inclusion."

With ACR 76, December 17th will serve as a time to acknowledge California's vital immigrant heritage and to honor how all immigrants continue to contribute to all segments of our society.

(Write a short paragraph on your immigrant history.)

With the rise hate crimes today, ACR 76 can serve as a reminder that the state of California was formed by immigrant people and can aid in promoting our multi-ethnic and multi-racial heritage.

Again, I wholehearted support ACR 76.

Thank you.

RE: Support for ACR 76- December 17 as Day of Inclusion

Dear Assembly Member Mike Eng:

On behalf of (Insert the name of your organization), I am writing in support of ACR 76, which establishes December 17th as a Day of Inclusion.

(Info. about your organization-optional)

Over the past few years, California has experienced an alarming increase in bias-motivated incidents towards our immigrant population. As California grows more diverse, inter-group tensions will continue to rise in many communities and will inevitably affect our quality of life. Hate and bias must be addressed in our public policy in order to preserve the hope and liberties we offer all Californians.

We are pleased to support ACR 76 because it will not only promote unity and acknowledge our immigrant heritage in California but it will also serve to shed light on the ignorance that leads to acts of hate and violence.

Sincerely,
